DIRECTING
Directing is where my love of storytelling meets years of working behind the scenes.
With over 16 years in VFX, CGI & post-production, I approach filmmaking with an understanding of the whole process - from performance and camera movement to editing, visual effects & the final image.
For me, technology is another creative tool. What matters most is the story we're telling and how we make people feel.
THE WAY I DIRECT
I come from a background where every frame matters.
Years of compositing, CGI and on-set VFX supervision have taught me to think beyond what the camera captures. When I'm developing a scene, I'm also considering how it will cut together, what needs to happen on set and what can be created or enhanced in post-production.
That doesn't mean every story needs visual effects. It means I understand the possibilities and limitations of the production process, which gives me more freedom to explore ideas without losing sight of what's practical.
I enjoy finding that balance between creative ambition, technical craft & the human side of storytelling.

02 - Life of a Drone

An original animated story about a capable little drone learning to believe in herself.
Full project description:
Life of a Drone follows Isla, a drone who is capable of more than she realises but struggles with her own self-doubt.
Through her relationships and the support of those around her, the story explores imposter syndrome, confidence & finding your own worth.
Currently in development, the film brings together character-led storytelling, animation and a more personal exploration of emotions we all recognise.
01 - Bolt From the Dark

A surreal, myth-inspired animated film following Astrape through an abstract world of chaos, perception & transformation.

Bolt From the Dark is a surreal fantasy art film centred on Astrape, a mysterious figure inspired by Greek mythology.
Developed through character design, 3D animation and visual experimentation, the film explores an abstract world shaped by movement, form & transformation.
I directed and edited the film, developing its visual language through the entire process, from early concepts and shot planning to animation, rendering & final post-production.
04 - Italian, Indian Cooking
Animated Comedy Series · Co-Creator
Two cultures, one kitchen & plenty of creative disagreements.
Full project description:
An original short-form animated comedy exploring what happens when Italian cooking meets Indian instincts.
Each episode revolves around a different dish, with cultural habits, pronunciation, cooking techniques and the occasional disagreement turning into playful comedy.
The series is being developed around expressive 2D characters, physical humour and the idea that food is one of the best ways to learn about each other.
03 - Mati Eats Everything

A hungry man walks into his sister's kitchen and discovers that some meals are better left untouched.

Mati Eats Everything is a darkly comic short about food, family and a spectacularly uncomfortable misunderstanding.
When Mati arrives at his sister Eve's home desperate for something to eat, an innocent moment in the kitchen quickly turns into something far stranger than he expected.
Built around character performances, awkward situations & comic timing, the film takes an ordinary domestic setting and pushes it into absurd territory.
